This is a feature only available for Trovit campaigns.
How does Returning Users work
Returning Users is a cookie-based technology that allows you to specifically target users that have already visited your site coming from our aggregators. So, the traffic from Returning Users campaigns will be composed by users that have visited your website at least once.
When a user has clicked once on your ads, we'll detect he/she is not a new user for you anymore, and can be a potential returning user for you from that moment on. If you have a returning user campaign active, your bid will apply next time this user returns to our aggregators and, if your bid is competitive enough, you'll have more chances to target that person.

Easy to activate
Just log in to your Thribee account and create a new campaign.
Choose Trovit brand and then, inside the “Audience” section you will find "Returning Users".
To create a Returning Users campaign you will need to create a dedicated campaign in Thribee and just check the option “Returning Users”.

You don’t need any development from your side.
After the campaign is created, you’ll start receiving traffic the day after.

Tips and Recommendations
- We recommend you to set a higher CPC on the Returning Users campaign than in the rest of your premium or content segmentation campaigns. If you have doubts about how to set a competitive CPC.
- You can combine Returning Users with other User Geotargeting Segmentation or Content Segmentation criteria. Beware that if you segment too much, possibly you will end up narrowing too much, which will generate an insignificant impact.
- Combine your Returning Users campaign with your current campaigns. Returning Users works as a companion to another existing campaign: Be sure you target the rest of your traffic with other campaigns. If you don't, you'll just bet in the case a user is returning for your website, but you'll lose the chances of targeting new users, so your returning users' traffic will end up decreasing. In addition, if you only have a Returning Users campaign active, your overall traffic will significantly decrease for the same reasons.
