Thribee allows you to create campaigns to specifically target a segment of users.
That means that your campaign targeting will apply to users that match your campaign's audience criteria, in mobile and desktop website, iOS and Android apps and email alerts.
Note: Our audience targeting only works with Trovit users. Mitula campaigns don't have this feature yet.
How does it work?
When creating a new campaign in Thribee, you can choose what content you want to promote and the Audience segment you want to specifically reach with this content.
If your CPC is competitive enough, once we have users in our Sites matching your segmentation, your bid will apply in order to target them.
We'll only apply your bid for users matching your audience criteria and searching for content like yours.
Let's see an example: if you want to target users from the city of London but your campaign for users in London city only has content about the Soho neighbourhood, the bidding will apply only for users in London city interested in properties in Soho.
Remember we will only charge you for the clicks you have received. That means that, if your bid was applied to target an audience segment but no user clicks on your ads, you will pay nothing.
How to set the CPC of your audience campaigns
As Audience campaigns target very specific niches of users and even target specific users with specific content, we recommend you to use a higher CPC in those campaigns according to your other campaigns.
If the CPC of your Audience campaign is the same as any other Content Segmentation campaigns you have, the Audience campaign will have preference over the Content Segmentation one, as Audience campaigns are more targeted than Content ones.
You could set a different CPC for mobile and desktop devices as in the rest of campaigns.
You'll bid in Thribee with the CPC you have defined.
Not only will you compete with this CPC against other sources bidding for the same audience segment. You'll also compete with other sources with similar content to yours. If we use our latest example, with your Audience campaign for users in London an with ads from the Soho, if there are other sources bidding for Soho ads higher than you, you'll compete with them to get those users' clicks even if there are no more sources bidding for audience located in London searching for content in the Soho.
