It is an alternative to the XML feed, which is the best option, but it doesn’t guarantee the same freshness and reliability. If you have more featured details in your database than those displayed on your website, with this integration method your content won’t have the same quality as an XML and will rank lower. Also, if you modify your site we may not be able to get all the information with a Crawler.
